From Hardship to Hope: Diagnostic Care in Our Community
In earlier days, people of this region had to travel to Okhaldhunga Mission Hospital or Phaplu District Hospital just to access X-ray services. This meant long, costly, and physically difficult journeys—especially for patients in urgent need.
Today, that challenge has been overcome. With the generous support of Solududhkunda Municipality and the Himalayan Yokpu Foundation, a state-of-the-art digital X-ray machine has been installed at Wongchhu Sherpa Memorial Hospital, making essential diagnostic services affordable and accessible—right here in our own community.
We thank our partners for their continued support in strengthening healthcare access in the remote Himalayas.
