Criteria for Candidacy
- The candidate should forward all the valid certifications (medical license) to Wilderness Medical Society or Wongchhu Sherpa Memorial Trust.
- The candidate should have a letter of acceptance from the local government or district health office with the help of Wongchhu Sherpa Memorial Trust.
- The candidate’s volunteer duration is at least 2 weeks.
- The candidate should work under the guidance of a doctor (Nepal Medical Council Registered) from Wongchhu Sherpa Memorial Primary Hospital, if he/she has NMC permission then can do solo practice.
- The duration of NMC permission takes 6 – 7 months, if candidates are interested in volunteering for a long duration (2-3 years).
- The candidate should follow hospital rules and regulations.
